Halloween is not even dunzo yet, yet many are already thinking about Winter and the holidays such as Christmas and with it, the new year! What I value the most about the winter holiday season is spending time and connecting with my loved ones as we all live such busy lives. Though the holidays are important for memories spent with ones you love, there is still the idea of a colder season, and by how quickly it’s approaching, there’s an urge to change my wardrobe for something a little warmer and different. I don’t really NEED anything but why not ponder and consider my options…
I’ve come up with a small general list from me to you of the things that I figured we might all need for this winter season, as you can see by my collage list above! Think of this list as a regular fall/ winter clothing/ accessories wish list. Now, I didn’t include a jacket or a coat as I usually just wear the same one from last year, why not? Lol. However, if you do need one, I highly recommend Community or Talula, their long parkas (from Aritzia), are warm and chic. You can also purchase similar finds at Old Navy for a lower price!
Lets delve into the items at hand, the goodies that I would love to have:
LONG WOOL CARDIGAN:
*Warm, comfy: The Javier Sweater from The Group, at Aritzia. http://www.aritzia.com/en/product/javier-sweater/49472.html?dwvar_49472_color=4210
*More Long Cardigans, at Zara: http://m.zara.com/ca/en/woman/knitwear/cardigans-c498027.html
BLACK JEANS/ Jeggings: Some of my favorite jeans for the quality & comfort have always been Mavi jeans, however for other comfy pairs, for a better price, try American Eagle jeggings; and the best part is that they always come with different colours!
*Mavi: Black Jeans, perfect for work & for play: http://ca.mavi.com/women-style-skinny/
*AEO Jeans, Jeggings, most for SALE: https://www.ae.com/women-jeans/web/s-cat/6430042?guide=jean&icid=AE:Jeans:SEC1:Womens:Bottoms:Jeans:ShopWomen&cm=sCA-cCAD
TURTLENECK:Turtleneck sweaters, shirts, are so useful for those windy days, but what’s even more awesome is that with a proper turtleneck, you don’t even really need a scarf- save yourself that hassle of over wearing too many things and accessories. Not to mention, they’re fashionable!
*HM: Ribbed Turtleneck Sweater/ Shirt for $14.99, in Black: http://m.hm.com/us/product/35185?article=35185-B
*Nordstrom: There are a variety of nice warmer turtleneck sweaters here: http://shop.nordstrom.com/c/womens-turtleneck-sweaters
SCARF: Scarves are a perfect accessory for the winter months, especially if your neck or chest is open. Ah, I really need to buy a warm scarf!
*ASOS has some cool scarves, some big enough to wear as a throw on. Check it out: http://m.asos.com/us/women/accessories/scarves/cat/?cid=6452
COMFY SWEATER: Honestly, as cliche that it might sound, my fav. sweaters are from Wilfred, Aritzia, because they’re made from comfy boucle yarn or other soft, warm wools. I’d really recommend their wool sweaters for the quality too. http://www.aritzia.com (This is no ad- it’s my honest opinion).
*Aritzia: Alpaca & Wool Made, Mical: I love the pattern and the two colours, grey & off white. http://www.aritzia.com/en/product/mical-sweater/61056.html?dwvar_61056_color=12051
BOOTS, BOOTIES: If you’re like me and you get hot easily, sometimes wearing long boots is not the answer! But knowing me, I do get cold quickly too lol- ah the contradictions.. Anyway, for both booties & boots, The Bay is awesome. I prefer the store at Pacific Centre mall, they have a wider selection of shoes, many for sale!
*Kohls, Juicy Couture: http://m.kohls.com/product/prd-2582884/juicy-couture-womens-wedge-ankle-boots.jsp
There’s also other options like Aldo, Steve Madden, Top Shop, or higher couture brands if you’re willing to shell out money.
SIMPLE BLACK BLAZER: I’ve been wanting a black blazer for so long! I did buy one about three years ago but it wasn’t good quality. Blazers are wonderful for work, night outs, with jeans, with a dress.. With anything really!
*Nordstrom: NEW Leith Cozy Long Blazer: I’m really digging this long, cozy blazer- There’s something about long cardis, blazers, coats that just give off a fashionably chic statement + effortless too. Love, love it. http://m.shop.nordstrom.com/s/leith-cozy-long-blazer/4348905?origin=category-personalizedsort&fashioncolor=GREY%20MED%20CHARCOAL%20HTHR
Nail Polish: Been wanting a dark red nail polish for years now, never knew why I never just went and bought one.
*Essie, red wine colour: http://www.essie.com/Colors/reds/bordeaux.aspx
Light pink is so easy on the eyes & cute. http://m.sephora.com/product/P406401?icid2=skugrid&skuId=1800341
See you guys on here either this week or on the upcoming Monday afternoon- of Halloween, woo!! Thanks for coming by & for your patience!! ❤️
